Producer. An ambitious exploration of vertebrate evolution. Weaving blue-chip footage with presenter led discovery and VFX to recreate the key animals in the story of vertebrate evolution.
Director. I worked out of Australia for two years and this is one of the most prestigious and loved brands; a Who Do You Think You Are for everyday Australians with extraordinary backstories.




Development of character driven narratives, shooting with large multi-cam crews in challenging locations, technical knowhow to decide kit requirements, budget management, client pitches, extensive VFX component.
Producer Director. A series pushing the boundaries of tech innovation - creating wearable cameras to better understand animal behaviour and answer research questions.

National Geographic Channel
Shooting Producer Director. Identifying and story producing pre-shot packages featuring wildlife in Yellow National Park. Producing Outside Broadcasts feeding into the main live programmes.
WORLD'S WEIRDEST EVENTS

Producer Director. A visually distinct series fronted by Chris Packham which unpacked natural phenomena. Weaving contributor interviews with UGC and specially shot experiments.

Shooting Producer. Identifying and building relationships with major brands (McVities, PG and Nestle) to secure access-all-areas filming and collaboration with a Michelin started chef - to redesign their products and reveal the science behind why they are so popular.
Filming day and night. Underwater filming and macro topside, drone, two filming units, table top sets, managing access during the migration when the island's road networks were closed.
Access agreement, location director, contributor casting, self shooting as part of multicam 'as live' events. Major prop design component and development of practical demonstration of scientific theories.
The writing of this series was key to slowly reveal mysteries, prompting the audience to ask questions and ultimately reveal satisfying and unexpected conclusions.
Shooting and Directing on-screen talent in the field. Delivering blue chip behavioural content on deadline. Working 'down the line' with live gallery producers.
Produced shoots across China, America, Europe and Australia. Commissioned and collaborated on VFX elements to bring ancient animals to life. Balancing ambition for creativity and impact against available budget.
Crafting in-depth ancestral research into compelling stories. Composure under pressure; delivering emotional bombshells to contributors not only has to be handled sensitively but shot perfectly. There are no repeat takes!
Working with camera specialists and academics to design wearable tech. Cameras developed included a 35g detachable bat camera, a suction-mount orca camera, a kangaroo collar-cam and an infra-red koala cam. Multi cam shoots across Australia.
